Rendermap is the first service to create custom pre-rendered
tilesets for draggable maps, giving you complete
control over graphical elements and style. You can also use
Rendermap to create map layers tailored to application specifications
and controllable by application logic. Rendermap tilesets can be
deployed via any standard browser using any map tile server, such
as Placebase's Pushpin LE.
You get complete control over your maps, including colors,
cartography, and map data. Rendermap accepts any Geographic
Information Systems (GIS) data, or you can choose from our library
of public data and private commercial data sources.
Maps are designed to order by Placebase cartographers, or we can
accept designs from your own GIS experts in ESRI ArcMap(tm)
format (.mxd file).
Real estate parcel maps - show/hide parcel boundaries on a rich
basemap with perfect legibility and cartographic quality
Carrier coverage maps - show nationwide coverage areas on fluidly
draggable, highly legible Web maps customized to reinforce carrier
brand identity
Rendermap consists of a fast computing grid with powerful graphics
and render management software. The Rendermap grid is much like
the render farms of theatrical computer animation, which crank away
during filmmaking to achieve the widely appreciated computer graphics
look. Rendermap similarly builds tilesets off line before deployment of
the associated application. These tilesets are cached and ready for
access when applications are brought up for the first time.
